To demonstrate the corrosion protection benefits of Hy-Tech ceramics we replaced a percentage of the zinc phosphate corrosion inhibitor in a standard metal primer with ceramic micro spheres and subjected both samples to 1000 hours salt spray exposure. As you can see by replacing the more porous conventional pigment in the coating with hard, low absorption ceramics a tighter closed film surface is achieved and rust is reduced dramatically.
