RECOMMENDED DRY FILM: 2 mils
COVERAGE: Theoretical coverage is 461 square feet per gallon at two mils dry. Material losses during mixing and application will vary and must be taken into consideration when estimating job requirements.
VISCOSITY: 65-75 KU
RECOMMENDED DRY TIME: At 40°F - set to touch in 1 hour, Recoat in 4 hours.
RECOMMENDED PRIMERS: Freezer-Kote is self-priming, showing good adhesion to masonry, ferrous metal, wood, plasterboard. Galvanized metal must be solvent cleaned thoroughly.
*Metal showing rust or newly blasted, may show rust bleed. Freezer-Kote has no rust inhibitive qualities and the use of a primer should be considered for bare steel surfaces.
APPLICATION: Brush, Roller, or Spray
Roller: 1/2" lambs wool or 3/8" - 1/2" synthetic roller cover. Keep roller wet. Do not over roll.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Remove all ice, dirt, oil, grease and other foreign matter.
POT LIFE: Not Applicable
LIMITATIONS: Not for immersion. Contains alcohol, care should be taken to avoid absorption by unsealed food.
SHELF LIFE: Minimum 12 months
MIXING: Stir well and apply as it comes from the container.
